Browser Compatibility
When building or updating your site, it's important to remember that not everyone is using the same web browser as yourself, therefore make sure that your site has cross browser compatibility. While just over 65% of people use Microsoft's Internet Explorer, that leaves 35% that don't. Building a site with just Internet Explorer in mind could potentially limit your audience.
The other main browsers out there include Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari which is on the increase due to it's inclusion of the Apple iPhone. To confuse matters further, different versions of these browsers keep getting released, the 8th version of Internet Explorer has recently been made available, while Chrome 2 and Firefox 3.5 won't be far behind. New browsers can sometimes view sites in a different way, so check that you're staying up to date and people can view your site how you intend.
You don't need an expensive flashy site to reach your maximum audience, just a well constructed site to appeal to as many people as possible. For more information, contact greything.
